MinuteMeet is a free scheduling site run by Mia Gobble. This page describes what the site stores and how calendar import works.

Information you enter

When you create or answer a poll, MinuteMeet stores:

  • The event name, optional description, dates, time window, and timezone
  • An optional custom link, and an optional meeting link or place when a time is finalized
  • The display name you type, and the time slots you mark as free

There are no accounts. Anyone with the poll link can open it. A random link is hard to guess. A custom link is only as private as the words you choose.

Google Calendar

If you choose Google Calendar, MinuteMeet asks for read-only access to your calendar (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly). Your browser then asks Google for events on your primary calendar during the dates on the poll.

MinuteMeet uses only the start and end of busy events to clear those times from the slots you are about to save. Event titles, descriptions, locations, guests, and the Google access token stay in your browser. They are not sent to MinuteMeet and they are not stored.

MinuteMeet’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can remove MinuteMeet’s access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

Other calendars

Outlook works the same way in your browser: MinuteMeet reads start and end times for busy events in the poll’s date range and does not store them.

An .ics file you upload is read in your browser and is not uploaded to MinuteMeet. If you paste a calendar web address, MinuteMeet’s server fetches that file so your browser can read the busy times. The address and the file are not saved.

What this data is not used for

Poll answers are used to show the group which times work. Google user data is used only to clear busy slots you asked to clear. MinuteMeet does not sell personal information and does not use Google user data for advertising.

Where poll data is stored

The site is hosted on Vercel. Poll names, times, and availability are stored in a Turso database. Those providers process that poll data to run the site. They do not receive your Google Calendar contents.
